NO WIN NO FEE*
Our legal costs are only payable if your claim is a success. Whilst most of these costs will then be recovered from your opponent, there is a possibility of a shortfall, which may be deducted from your final settlement award.
If your claim is not successful, we will not ask you to pay or contribute to our legal costs provided that you have followed the terms Conditional Fee Agreement that you signed. There might be scenarios set out within the Conditional Fee Agreement where you are liable to meet the charges even if you do not win, such as no longer instructing us before the claim is won or settled.
If your claim is unsuccessful, there may be costs in relation to disbursements that we have paid on your behalf throughout the claim (such as medical fees, bike & clothing replacements & repairs and Court fees). These mentioned disbursements are separate from our legal costs, and you may be able to take out an insurance policy that covers you against these charges. We will discuss these with you at the outset, and your options in relation to that protection, and the costs associated with similar ones.
You will not be liable for any costs and disbursements until you have signed a copy of the Conditional Fee Agreement. Full terms and conditions will be found in your client care and information booklet.
